Payment, timing, and dispatch follow file review and quote approval. These terms apply to all production work submitted through the Vectrix intake process.
How it works

Details
Vectrix produces castable patterns and prototype prints from customer-supplied CAD files. Finished metal casting, stone setting, polishing, and assembly are not included unless explicitly quoted in writing. Patterns are produced for downstream casting and bench use by the customer or their casting partner.

Details
A production request is not accepted until the file packet is reviewed, timing is confirmed, and the quote is approved by the customer. Payment is due upon quote approval before production begins. Vectrix does not charge for file review or quoting.

Details
Standard production turnaround is estimated during the quote review and depends on file complexity, quantity, queue position, and output requirements. Turnaround estimates are good-faith projections, not guaranteed delivery dates. Rush turnaround is available when file readiness and production capacity support it.

Rush timing is available only when file condition, queue capacity, and dispatch constraints support it. Rush pricing is quoted separately and confirmed before production begins. Rush slots cannot be guaranteed until the file is reviewed and the slot is confirmed.

Details
Finished patterns are packed as production components with job context and tracking information. Shipping costs are quoted alongside production. Vectrix is not liable for carrier delays, damage in transit, or customs holds. Insurance and signature confirmation are available on request.

Details
If a production defect is identified that originated from the Vectrix printing process, a reprint will be provided at no charge. Issues arising from file errors, unclear specifications, or downstream casting/bench problems are not covered. Reprint requests must be submitted within 7 business days of delivery with photos of the defect.

Details
Customer files are securely stored during active production and deleted 30 days after the job is completed unless a longer retention arrangement is established for repeat production. Files are never shared, sold, or used for marketing without explicit written permission from the customer.

Details
All CAD files, design files, and production packets remain the intellectual property of the customer. Vectrix claims no ownership or license rights over submitted files. Confidentiality expectations and NDA requirements should be noted during intake.
